When your Bits and Channel Points Sound Alerts are playing multiple times or with a small echo, you might have copied your browser source into different OBS/Streamlabs scenes using the wrong method. In this guide, we will show you how to fix it.

How to fix Sound Alerts playing twice

If your alerts are playing twice, your browser source is most definitely active in multiple scenes — follow these steps:

  1. Delete your Sound Alerts browser source in all OBS/Streamlabs scenes except one
  2. Copy this source and paste it to your other scenes using the "Paste (Reference)" setting (right-click)

Do not use the "Paste (Duplicate)" option — it will result in multiple instances of your browser source that play your alerts for more than one time.
