Timing certain events in your livestream show can keep your audience engaged and let them know what you plan to do next or how long a particular event will take. The Timer stream overlay of Sound Alerts enables you to create a custom timer that you can customize based on your needs, and we will show you how to set it up in this guide.

What is the Sound Alerts Timer Widget?

The Sound Alerts Timer widget is a stream overlay that shows a clock on your stream. It can be used as a countdown to time your stream events like giveaways or breaks. The widget is fully customizable via the Sound Alerts Scene Editor to match your channel design and other specifications.

Adding the Timer Widget to your Stream

Here are the steps to follow to add the Timer widget to your stream:

  1. Visit the Sound Alerts Scene Editor.
  2. Click "+ Add new Scene" in the top right or select one of your existing scenes.
  3. Select "Add Widget +" in the top left, select "Elements" and click on "+Add" for the "Timer".
