Our Global Alert Settings allow you to customize your alerts all at once and save some time while optimizing the alert setup for your stream. This guide will show you how to access and change your Global Alert Settings in Sound Alerts.
What are Global Alert Settings?
We introduced Global Alert Settings to create an easy way to customize your stream alerts swiftly. This process is helpful if you want to use the same alert animation or chat notification for all your alerts. You can still adapt individual alerts even when the Global Alert Settings are activated.
Where do I find the Global Alert Settings?
The Global Alert Settings are in the "My Alerts" section of the Sound Alerts Dashboard. You can access them by clicking on the "Edit: Global Alert Settings" button and scrolling down the menu opening after that. The button is usually located in the center right after clicking on any of your alerts.
What options do the Global Alert Settings include?
Using Global Alert Settings, you can adapt the following parts of your alert:
- Animation: Select an animation you want to use for all alerts utilizing the Global Alert Settings.
- Chat Notification: Choose a standard chat notification you want to use for all alerts utilizing the Global Alert Settings.
Text-to-Speech Announcement: Select a TTS voice style that reads out the alert details of all alerts utilizing the Global Alert Settings.
Please note that you can still turn on individual customization for any alert by simply adapting the settings of that alert.
