Alert Animation Editor

Animations are an essential part of your alerts, and sometimes, a template from our Animation Store might not be enough for your stream. This guide will show you how to create your own alert animations without any design knowledge by using our Alert Animation Editor.

What is the Alert Animation Editor?

The Alert Animation Editor of Sound Alerts is a tool for creating visuals for your stream to use with your alerts. This powerful feature lets you upload your own media files, add text elements, and style them to match your stream. You can also use the Animation Editor to edit and customize existing templates of our Animation Store. All alerts you create in the Editor are compatible with our alert types, including Bits, Channel Points, Subs, Follow, and more.

Creating your own Alert Animation

Follow these steps to create your own stream animation:

1. Visit the Alert Animation Editor.
2. Select the template you want to start with.
3. Use the "Media" button in the bottom left to upload your own GIFs, videos, or images.
4. Use the "Text" button in the bottom left to add new text fields to your alert.
5. Click on the individual elements in the middle and use the settings on the right side to adjust every part of your media and text.
6. Use the layers section in the top left to sort the order of your animation elements.
7. Use the "Test alert" section at the bottom center to preview your animation for every alert type.
8. Select a name for your animation using the text field on the top left.
9. Click "Save" at the top right to add the animation to your inventory.
10. Congratulations! You can now visit your alert settings to add the animation to your alerts.

Editing existing Alert Animations

The process for editing your existing animations is easy — simply visit your animation inventory and click on the "Edit" button of the animation you would like to customize. After that, you can continue following the steps listed above. Just hit "Save" in the top right at the end.

Adding your Animation to your Alerts

After creating your alert in the Animation Editor, you can select it in the alert settings. To do that, click on the alert you want to edit and use the settings on the right side to edit the animation segment. The animation will now appear each time the alert is activated.

Submitting your Animations to the Public Library

Designers and animators can also submit their animations to our Animation Store and make them available for all Sound Alerts streamers. Initiate this process by visiting this page in our Dashboard and selecting "For Public Store". Proceed by creating your animation and filling out all the details, such as the thumbnail, title, and description text. Finalize your submission by clicking on the submit button. Our team will review your alert within two weeks and release it to the store if it suits the criteria.
