How do I implement Sound Alerts in Streamlabs Desktop?
- Visit the Sound Alerts setup page.
- Select "Copy".

- Open Streamlabs Desktop on your device.
- Click on the + symbol next to "Sources" (usually in the center bottom of the tool).
- Select "Browser Source".
- Click "Add Source".
- Enter "Sound Alerts" and click "Add Source".
- Paste the link you copied in step 3 into the URL section.
- Turn on "Control Audio via Streamlabs Desktop" and press "Close".

- Go back to the Dashboard in your browser and click on the new "Play Test Alert" button.
- If you can see and hear your alert in OBS, you completed the initial part of your Sound Alerts setup.
How do I control the Volume of Sound Alerts in Streamlabs Desktop?
To adjust the volume of your alerts, use the sound controller on the right side of Streamlabs Desktop. You can enable or disable Sound Alerts in various Streamlabs Desktop scenes to use them specifically in your Just Chatting or gaming segments. To prevent problems with echoing or sound doubling in your alerts, it is essential to properly transfer them to other scenes. Here's how you can do it:
- Right-click your Sound Alerts browser source in your main scene.
- Select "Copy"
- Select another scene you want to use with Sound Alerts.
- Right-click into the scene and select "Paste (Reference)" — this step is the most important one.
- You successfully created a copy of your Sound Alerts browser source.
