Displaying the current song in your stream avoids many questions in your chat and helps you inform your viewers about your current playlist. The Sound Alerts Spotify "Now Playing" widget is a simple overlay that lets you do just that, and we will show you how to set it up in this guide.

What is the Spotify "Now Playing" Stream Overlay?

The Spotify "Now Playing" stream overlay in the Sound Alerts Scene Editor is a simple widget that displays your current Spotify song to your audience so that they can identify the artist and song title. It is fully customizable, including different formats and chat notification settings to easily let it match with the rest of your stream design. You can set it up in all popular broadcast software like OBS, Streamlabs Desktop, Xsplit, Lightstream, or any other tool that supports the implementation of a web or browser source. It also works with any streaming platform, including Twitch, YouTube, and many others.
