Displaying relevant information in your stream overlay can be helpful if you want to keep newly joined viewers updated about your stream. The Sound Alerts Label widgets allow you to show customizable and dynamic information fields in your stream design, and we will show you how to activate them now.

What are Label Widgets?

The Label widgets are part of the Sound Alerts Scene Editor, an excellent hub for all the stream overlays and designs you need to improve your viewers' stream experience. The Label widgets are available in various types that display different information, and you can combine all of them in your stream scene. The list includes:

  • Total Followers Label
  • Total Twitch Subscribers Label
  • Last Follower Label
  • Last Cheerer Label
  • Last Raider Label
  • Last Twitch Subscriber Label
  • Last Channel Points Alert Label
  • Last Extension Alert Label

Adding a Label Widget to your Livestream

For this example, we will use the Label widget showing your stream's last follower. You can also replicate the steps described for all other labels.

  1. Visit the Sound Alerts Scene Editor.
  2. Click "+ Add new Scene" in the top right or select one of your existing scenes.
  3. Select "Add Widget +" in the top left and click on "Labels" on the left side.
  4. Choose the "Last Follower" widget and press the "+ Add" button.
  5. Use the settings on the left side to adjust the style of your Label and alter the size/position via drag and drop.
  6. After that, select "Save" in the top right and enter a name for your scene.
  7. Now click "Copy Source URL" in the top right. You can add this browser source URL to OBSStreamlabs Desktop, or other tools by adding it to your source list as a "Browser" or "Web" source and pasting the link.
  8. Your Label widget will now display on your stream as long as the browser source is visible.

Customizing your Label Widget

The customization settings of the Label widgets include the following options on the left side of your Scene Editor:

  • Position settings: Select the exact position of the labels in your stream.
  • Text settings: Adjust the wording of your Label.
  • Animation settings: Display how the text enters your overlay.
  • Style settings: Customize the font and alignment of your text.

The Label widgets allow you to display dynamic information on your stream in a fixed position. This can include the name of your last subscriber or the total number of Followers you have. There are various information types to choose from in the Scene Editor.

Make sure that you select a resolution of 1920x1080 in the browser source settings of your broadcast tool. Moreover, you should ensure you saved your scene properly in the Sound Alerts Dashboard. Please note that the Scene Editor browser source differs from your alert browser source link.
