Displaying a set rotation of images or text information allows you to easily display sponsorship logos or chat commands. Setting up dynamic text or image fields in your stream will take less than ten minutes, and we will show you exactly how to do it in this tutorial.
What are the Text and Image Rotation Widgets?
Both widget types are overlays for your livestream that you can customize based on your stream design and the information you want to display. The Text Rotation widget lets you create a dynamic text field containing information of your choice, such as chat commands, giveaway information, or anything else you can think of. The Image Rotation widget does the same with image files and is the perfect place for you to display a rotation of your sponsorship logos in your livestream.
Adding the Text and Image Rotation Widgets to your Livestream
For this example, we will show you how to set up the Image Rotation widget, but the process is the same for the Text Rotation widget.
- Visit the Sound Alerts Scene Editor.
- Click "+ Add new Scene" in the top right or select one of your existing scenes.
- Select "Add Widget +" in the top left and click on "Elements" on the left side.
- Choose the "Image Rotation" widget and press the "+ Add" button.
- Use the settings on the left side to add images to your rotation and adjust the size/position via drag and drop.
- After that, select "Save" in the top right and enter a name for your scene.
- Now click "Copy Source URL" in the top right. You can add this browser source URL to OBS, Streamlabs Desktop, or other tools by adding it to your source list as a "Browser" or "Web" source and pasting the link.
- Your images will now display on your stream as long as the browser source is visible.
