Fullscreen Effects let you add an extra visual clip to your alerts that covers the entire stream player. They are a great way to make important alerts stand out and create bigger, more memorable moments for your viewers.

You can use Fullscreen Effects with all alert types, including Channel Points, Extension Bits, Tips, Coins, Follows, Subscriptions, and more.

How Fullscreen Effects Work

Fullscreen Effects are added directly to an alert through its Alert Settings.

When the alert is triggered, the selected Fullscreen Effect plays across the entire stream player alongside your regular alert. This allows you to add anything from a simple fullscreen animation to a larger visual effect for special moments, such as a big Sub Gift celebration.

How to Add a Fullscreen Effect

To add a Fullscreen Effect to an alert:

  1. Open your Sound Alerts and go to My Alerts

  5. Make sure Fullscreen Effect is enabled.
  6. Click Select Effect.
  7. Choose the effect you want to use.
  8. Save your alert settings.

You can use Test in browser source to preview the alert and check how the Fullscreen Effect looks on your stream.

Browser Source Requirements

Fullscreen Effects require your Sound Alerts browser source to have a resolution of at least 1920×1080.

If your current browser source does not meet this requirement, you will see the following message:

"Fullscreen Effect requires browser source update!"

Click Set Alert Position and update your browser source resolution to 1920×1080 or higher.

Once your browser source has the correct resolution, Fullscreen Effects can cover the entire stream player as intended.

Changing or Disabling a Fullscreen Effect

You can return to the Fullscreen Effect section of an alert at any time to change the selected effect.

If you don't want a Fullscreen Effect to play for a particular alert, use the Enabled toggle in the Fullscreen Effect section to disable it.

This allows you to decide exactly which alerts should use Fullscreen Effects.
