Using Sound Alerts with Meld Studio
You can easily integrate Sound Alerts into Meld Studio by adding your Sound Alerts browser source to your scene. This allows you to activate all your alerts, overlays, and widgets while streaming with Meld Studio.
How to add Sound Alerts to Meld Studio
Visit the Sound Alerts Dashboard and navigate to the Setup page.
Select the generic browser source option and click Copy to copy your unique Sound Alerts URL.
Open Meld Studio on your device.
Go to the Scenes panel and click the + icon to add a new layer.
Select Browser Source as your layer type.
Name the source (for example “Sound Alerts”) and paste your copied URL into the URL field.
Make sure audio is enabled for the browser source so your alerts can be heard on stream.
Return to your Sound Alerts Dashboard and press the Play Test Alert button. If the alert appears in Meld Studio, the setup is complete.
Customizing your alerts
After adding the browser source, you can manage all your alerts directly from the Sound Alerts Dashboard.
This includes your Twitch alerts, custom sound and video alerts, extensions, and any widgets added through the Scene Editor.
Any changes you make in the dashboard will update automatically in Meld Studio.
Troubleshooting
If your alerts do not appear, ensure the browser source is visible and placed above other layers in the scene.
If you hear no audio, check that the browser source audio is not muted and that your audio routing inside Meld Studio is properly configured.
Always use the Play Test Alert button after making changes to verify the setup is working correctly.
